Riverside Cafe - Steamboat Springs: Reviews & Ratings
Yummy, healthy food and amazing coffee!! Sophie and Henry are the best and always have a delicious new snack, sandwich, or drink to offer. My favorite place to get a really good coffee in steamboat!
This café is such a gem! Sophie and Henry do an amazing job of creating healthy, delicious food in this cozy little nook of the library. A perfect place to grab coffee or lunch and get some computer work done, dive into a good read, or visit with a friend. The atmosphere is inviting and the treats satisfying. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll and Persian love cake for treats and the veggie sandwich if you're looking for something savory. I can't recommend this place enough - if you're in Steamboat definitely drop on by!
This place is a charming locals spot that brings real flavor to the library. The food and beverages are lovingly crafted, down to the homemade fresh bread and chai blend. There are plenty of delicious options from baked goods to sandwiches and smoothies and homemade soups. A sneaky favorite is the superfood fudge. It is so rich and delicious. I definitely recommend a stop in for a healthy snack or lunch (plenty of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options too) and some chit chat.
Amazing vegan pastries! The sourdough cinnamon roll and pop tart were really tasty. I should have bought more to snack on! It’s a true gem in Steamboat. The soup and smoothies were really delicious, too. A lot of thought and care goes into the food and drinks they prepare here.
Every week, I try to get a made from scratch super yummy soup from Sophie and Henry, accompanied with the delicious homemade bread. (I just can’t get enough of their very creative and healthy soups). Truly, their soups make me so happy; it not only fills my tummy but it warms my heart! Highly recommend this place
Looking for a quiet place to unwind and indulge in vegan heaven? Look no further! This is the CUTEST and best hidden cafe gem that Steamboat Springs has to offer! Their drip is one of a kind, brewed with love and beans roasted SeedHouse (another awesome LOCAL business). The pastries? Vegan heaven. Be sure to stop in and say hey to the owners - Henry and Sophie. They are super cool and friendly. Whether you are a local or visitor, they make your visit at the Riverside Cafe feel like you are family and friend. Not only are they hospitable, but they are a HOOT. Sophie always makes me laugh and Henry calms my chaotic nature with some neutral paced words of wisdom. I cannot recommend this place enough! SO much love for this cafe and the vibrant people who are a part of it.
Wow!! Fresh, homemade, delicious and nutritious "artful food". And, if you have food sensitivities, this your place. I rarely eat out as I usually feel crappy afterwards. Their food actually energized me so i could go hiking and get the most out of my day instead of having a "food coma" and wanting to nap. The bread, fritattas, turkey pesto sandwiches, Avocado Toast, everything was so delicious and satisfying. Generous portion sizes, very reasonably priced. I love how they are dedicated to making things from scratch. Henry's sourdough bread is the only bread I can eat that doesn't leave me feeling painfully bloated (heard other customers saying the same). Generally I avoid sweets due to sugar crashes and stomach upset. Hearing customers raving about the fudge and energy bombs, I had to try. They're scrumdiddleiscious and made me feel soo good with ZERO sugar crash. You know a place is good when the locals go there and each time I visited there were plenty! Thank you for making my trip a delicious and nutritious one!
This little cafe inside the library is a perfect place to get a snack before heading out to a hike, walk, or doing a remote session at the library. Highly recommend their soups and bread . Delicious all around and made with great care! Vegans and vegetarian foods are also available!
